OPNY Surveyors

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:
October 2026 – June 2027


OPNY measures the real-world impact of climate action in schools through surveys carried out by our volunteer partners.

Each participating school needs around 20 surveys per year, helping us measure the impact of initiatives including school litter picks, greener kitchen menus, active travel and planting projects.

By becoming an OPNY Surveyor, you’ll help schools understand what’s working, measure their progress and build a clearer picture of the positive impact they’re having in their local community.

Please note: Volunteers carrying out surveys that involve direct contact with students will need an up-to-date
Enhanced DBS certificate, unless they are aged 16–18 and in full-time education. Appropriate safeguarding guidance will be provided before taking part.
