Rise Up!
Let’s come together, rise up and say ‘NO’!
Hurting our planet is no way to go.
We vote with our voices — and with our choices.
Policy change and new technology matter, but behaviour change is a crucial part of the net zero puzzle.
This initiative is about coming together, partnering with one another, our schools, and the wider community to take care of our planet.
See how small changes, when adopted by many, can lead to big impact.
Making the change!
There are 30,000 schools and 10 million students in the UK.
Imagine if every school, student, and community joined forces to raise the funds to retrofit school buildings, cutting waste and slashing emissions nationwide.

The Big Raise 2026
Participating schools will Rise Up to raise the money needed to retrofit their buildings and become net zero.
Students will lead the charge, sparking creative fundraising ideas and rallying their communities and local businesses.
Together, they’ll turn schools into carbon-zero hubs, inspiring positive behaviour change, and showing what’s possible when a generation takes action.
Schools score 1 OPNY point for every pound raised, divided by the number of students in their school.
Progress will be trackable via our leaderboard—coming soon—as shown below.
