Active Travel
You can minimise your impact and burn less fuel by walking to work and wheeling to school.
It’s a great way to get out and do your bit, reconnect with nature and keep yourself fit.
A generation ago, 70% of us walked to school. Now it’s less than half.
That’s despite most people living within two miles of their closest primary school.
We know that switching our short car journeys to cleaner modes of transport is vital to achieve net zero.
Making the change!
Active Travel
Did you know that active travel not only cuts down carbon emissions and reduces air pollution but also makes us fitter and healthier.
Live more than 2 miles from school?
Why not park and stride?
Park at a location at least 10 minutes away from school and walk/wheel the rest of the journey.
